Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Design Jewelry Collection for Asprey
A lot of celebrities design their own line, now it’s Brangelina’s turn: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie designed a jewelry collection for Asprey.
When Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh, she was given a ring in the shape of a snake, since then she’s considered the reptile a talisman and protector of her family. That’s why the theme of collection is snakes. The collection is called – appropriately enough – “The Protector”. The couple has designed rings, cuff links, bracelets, spoons, cups etc in a snake-like design. You can buy all this at Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai.
Prices start at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a curving, serpent-shaped handle, and all net proceeds from sales will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which was cofounded by Jolie in 2006.
The jewelry-loving Angelina Jolie has worn Asprey — and other famous names like Lorraine Schwartz and Mikimoto — on the red carpet. Pitt, who has a passion for architecture and design, in the past has created pieces for the Italian jeweler Damiani. Both Jolie and Pitt have also commissioned pieces privately from Asprey.
I love the idea of a Protector in a line of jewlery. Unfortunately, Asprey is out of my price range
